June Brayfield



Feb 22, 1927 - Apr 8, 2009 Bellevue, NE. Preceded in death by parents; 5 brothers; 1 sister. She is survived by her husband, Carroll; sons, Stephen and wife Jill Brayfield, Omaha, Jeffrey Brayfield, Bellevue, Aaron and wife Brenda Brayfield, Des Moines, IA; grandchildren, Douglas, Andrew, Kathryn, Jordan, Kalisha, Caitlin, Mikala, and Anna.

Memorial Service Tuesday, April 14, 1:30pm at Thanksgiving Lutheran Church, Bellevue. The family suggests memorials to Bellevue Little Theatre.

June was a driving force during the early years of the Bellevue Little Theatre. She was a board member and coproduced many shows, predominantly children's shows.

She loved shows with many children. Some of the theatre's present actors got their start as child performers in such shows as "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", "Cheaper By the Dozens", "Carousel ", "Oliver", "The Wizard of Oz", and "Gypsy", under June's supervision.

Although June hasn't participated at the theatre for several years, her presence is always there and she will be missed!
