"Over the Tavern" follows the Pazinski family as it confronts the coming of age of their children during the 1950s. One of the boys, Rudy, a smart, wise-cracking kid, is beginning to question family values and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. When he goes up against the ruler-weilding Sister Clarissa and anounces that instead of being confirmed, he will shop around for a more fun religion, all hell breaks loose. His sister is also 'growing up', and causing problems. We watch these youngsters and their parents confront these growing pains as well as the normal everyday problems all families must face. This play contains some adult language and situations.

Doug Marr is directing this production, and Mark Ferrill is serving as producer and lighting designer. Jane Keller is stage manager; Jack Hogston is set designer; Kyle Fitch is sound designer, and Carol Zacek is the costumer. Pam Mantey is in charge of props and is also sound technician. Wayne Mantey is lighting technician.

Appearing in 'Over the Tavern" are Ed Cutler, Chet; Will Donlan, Georgie; Brock McCullough, Rudy; Roxanne McKaig, Annie; Zachary Prall, Eddie, Sarah Query, Ellen, and Ruth Rath, Sister Clarissa.
