"Rumors' is a fast paced adult farce which takes place in the upscale suburban home of the deputy mayor of New York City and his wife, where guests have been invited to an anniversary celebration. The first couple arriving finds the hostess and servants missing and the host upstairs with a superficial gunshot wound. They try to hide a potential scandal from the second couple, who proceed to hide it from the third, and so on, until all the guests are caught in a frenzy of rumor and misiunderstanding. Given everyone's upper class status, the guests decide to do everything possible to conceal the events from the police and the media....and the results provide the audience with a night of frantic comedy.
