Abraham Amaya, Psy.D.
Session(s): A2/A3- Depression & Anxiety Disorders Leading to Suicidal Ideation, Parts I and II
Dr. Amaya is a licensed Clinical Psychologist currently practicing in Pocatello, Idaho. He is also a Professor at Idaho State University. His extensive experience in clinical research and practice is well known and he presents for numerous conferences and organizations throughout the world.
Bobby Ball

Bobby Ball is the Executive Director of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Task Force in Idaho. She is the Idaho state representative of the Disability & Business Technical Assistance Center Northwest, one of ten regional ADA technical assistance centers who provide technical assistance, training and materials on the ADA and related laws. Ms Ball participates in yearly, advanced-level ADA training from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Access Board and the Department of Justice, and has worked in the field of ADA and disability for 18 years.

John Dineen holds a dual appointment with the Region X Technical Assistance Center for state Vocational Rehabilitation agencies and with the Northwest ADA Center, both located at the University of Washington. His background includes more than thirty years of supported employment experience, as well as providing technical assistance to employers and workers with disabilities on ADA issues. He is most known, however, for being thrown into a swimming pool by IDVR counselors during his first workshop in Idaho as a much younger “expert from Seattle”.

Frona Erickson has worked with Community Partnerships of Idaho, Inc. for almost 15 years, currently as the Adult Developmental Services Director in Boise. She has extensive experience leading developmental groups and providing center and community-based developmental therapy.
Rebecca Evans

Rebecca Evans is a motivational speaker, author and empowerment coach. She founded Inner Element as a way to combine her experiences as a woman in the military, mom and world class athlete into an organization that provides effective life breakthrough strategies. Her core philosophy, “fitness from the inside out” resounds for men and women of all ages.
As a frequent columnist, radio show host and frequent television guest, she shares her empowerment techniques with thousands of individuals weekly. Her accomplishments as a business woman have landed her as Idaho Business Review’s “Idaho Women of the Year” honors, the National Association of Women Business Owners Business Women of the Year honors, and Boise State University's “Women Making History in Idaho”. She is a former Girls on the Run program director, Mrs. Idaho International 2004 and a decorated Gulf War veteran.
She is the author of The Art of Self Discovery, Inner Fitness for Celebrating Your Life, Inner Fitness for Girls and Inner Fitness for Empowerment and lives in Idaho with her husband and four children.
Jackie Frey

Jackie Frey has been the coordinator for the Department of Emergency Services in Twin Falls County for the last 13 years. She is currently the President of the Idaho Emergency Mangement Association. She is a recipeint of the 2001 Governors Award in Emergency Managment, the Idaho Coordinator of the Year in 2000, and is certified in the following: Idaho Certified Emergency Managment Accreditation (ICEM), Advanced Professional Series (APS) and the Professional Development Series (APS) Certifications from FEMA, and over 35 Independent Study Certifications in Emergency Management. Jackie is a parent of a special needs child, and strongly believes in her position as a parent and as the Emergency Manager in her county.
Kelly Hardy, B.S.

Kelly Hardy has many years of experience working in the field of Developmental Disabilities with caregivers, agencies and institutions in a variety of roles. For the past 4 years she has been part of a team that helps people avoid crisis all over Idaho. This has led to many interesting and educational experiences. Currently on the Community Support and Outreach Team, Kelly works on-site with caregivers and providers to reduce crisis behaviors and help everyone reach their goals.

Tammie Haynes is a Love and Logic Instructor, PSR Specialist and Case Manager for Community Partnerships of Idaho. She holds a Baccalaureate from Boise State University emphasizing conflict management. She is the mother of two children and has practiced Love and Logic principles and techniques for two years. For five years she worked side by side with families and persons diagnosed with mental illness.

Keith Jones
Session(s): D3 - Providers as the Cornerstone for Community Inclusion
Keith Jones is the President and CEO of SoulTouchin’ Experiences. An organization aimed at bringing a perspective to the issues of access inclusion and empowerment, which affect him as well as others who are persons with a disability. Mr. Jones is also extremely active in multi-cultural, cross-disability education, outreach efforts, and conducts trainings (including train the trainer) with the purpose of strengthening efforts to provide services and information to people with disabilities. Mr. Jones over the past years has been recognized locally and national as a strong advocate on a wide breadth of issues. Over his years as and advocate Mr. Jones has been awarded the New Leadership Development Award from The President’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, The Commonwealth Coalition’s Progressive Leadership Award, and the 2006 Moro Fleming Consumer Involvement Award from the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission. Mr. Jones is a recent graduate of the inaugural class of Initiative for Diversity in Civic Leadership. Also, in 2008 long shot 2008 US Senatorial bid based on “Fulfilling America’s Promise”. Mr. Jones in his role as an advocate is a public speaker on many issues including education, employment, health care, home and community based services, public policy, disability rights, and Inclusion. Most recently Mr. Jones has been featured in two critically acclaimed documentaries Dan Habib’s “Including Samuel” and Maggie Doben’s “Labeled Disabled”.

Dr. Vincent Muli Wa Kituku works with organizations to increase productivity through employees and leadership development programs. Stephanie Leavell, MT-BC

Stephanie Leavell MT-BC (formerly Johnson) is a Boise native who grew up singing and playing the harp. Through her years as a performer, she was often drawn to the ability of music to encourage relaxation and expression. Shortly after discovering the field of music therapy, Stephanie was hooked and received her bachelor's in music therapy at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
Stephanie feels incredible passion for her career and is committed to providing this cutting-edge service to individuals in her beloved home town. Stephanie provides private and group music therapy sessions through Music Therapy of Idaho and is also the founder of a new non-profit, called The Idaho Music Therapy Initiative, Inc.
Kerry Leavell, M.A., MT-BC

Kerry Leavell, a former Centennial High School Patriot, is excited to have returned to the City of Trees She holds a bachelors degree in music performance with an emphasis in percussion from Wheaton College's Conservatory of Music in Wheaton, Illinois, and recently completed her Master of Arts in expressive therapies with a specialization in music therapy and mental health counseling from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Kerry completed two nine-month internships as a graduate student, which involved music therapy work with a variety of populations (see below). She is currently working towards her LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) credential, which she intends to receive in September 2012.
Robyn Legaretta, M.A.

Robyn Legarreta's wish for becoming a steward of the people was realized when she received her Master's degree in Psychology from Pepperdine. Now, over sixteen years later, Robyn's been enlightening, encouraging, and enchanting Idaho's community with her energizing compassion, electrifying resourcefulness, and "knows no boundaries" loyalty. She's an enthusiastic partner who gently leads and is a welcoming warmth of invaluable intuition. A vivacious visionary, Robyn is a strong and stabilizing support, and a talented and tender teacher of remarkably connected communities.

Whether it be through coaching, training others, providing therapy or in his current role as Administrator of Services for Community Connections, Inc., Jason Lowry says he’s had a ‘lifelong passion for serving’ others in various capacities and hopes to be doing so for years to come. Back in 1989, Jason began coaching gymnastics after falling in love with the sport as a child growing up in Nampa. ‘[Gymnastics] was an instrument in my success at Boise St. as a college student, as an Intensive Behavioral Intervention therapist and now as an administrator. Learning to focus, train, and dedicate myself in the gym are traits I’ve learned to carry-over into everyday life,’ Lowry says. Jason began working in this field as an Intensive Behavior Intervention professional with a desire to make a positive impact on children with developmental disabilities; ‘I wanted to help children with maladaptive behaviors build and develop adaptive skills so they could be in more control of their environment.’ As he worked more and more as an IBI professional, Jason feels he learned as much from the participants as he was able to teach as a therapist. Educating others is one of his passions as he approaches his 4th year at CCI and his 10th year working with children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Janice Lung, Ed.D.

Janice Lung holds a doctorate in educational leadership and brings over 20 years of experience teaching and facilitating groups in the areas of health and wellness, personal and professional development, communication and interpersonal relationships, leadership, group dynamics, and more. Through "b.Well," a local health and wellness education and outreach center, Dr. Lung inspires and informs individuals who are seeking greater health, joy, vitality, productivity and purpose in their lives. Students value her engaging and personable style of teaching.
Irene Lunsford

Irene P Lunsford has managed banks and its operations and training for over twenty years before becoming Northwest Coordinator for "Families Together, Inc." organizing weekends for families who have a child with a disability. In 2005, she became the Loan Project Manager for the Idaho Assistive Technology Project at the Center on Disabilities and Human Development with the University of Idaho. Volunteer hours are spent with Partners in Policymaking, Self Advocate Leadership Network and Idaho Impact, Inc.
Dennis Morrow, M.A.Ed., MBA

Dennis Morrow, M.A.Ed., MBA, has been the Executive Director of Janus Youth Programs, Inc. since 1980. The agency has an $8 million budget, employs a staff of 250 at 18 locations in Oregon and Washington, and provides a wide array of services to high-risk adolescents. Dennis is also a management consultant working with both nonprofit and for-profit businesses, and he serves as an instructor at Portland State University (Institute for Nonprofit Management) and Portland Community College (Alcohol and Drug Counselor Education). He has provided training and workshops for over 20,000 people and hundreds of businesses/organizations ranging from small nonprofits to some of the largest accounting firms in the world. His primary focus is on Values-Based Management, a unique model for supervision and support of employees in the nonprofit/public service sector, but he has also provided training in the areas of organizational change, team building, staff conflict resolution, and race/gender issues in the workplace. A Licensed Professional Counselor, Dennis has also developed counselor and parent training programs for over 30 years. In 2009, Dennis was recognized by the University of Portland’s Pamplin School of Business at their 75th Anniversary as one of the “Significant 75” graduates from the Business School.

Robert Renteria

Executive Director of the Idaho Center for Assistive Technology – specializes in promoting the wider acceptance and use of assistive technology by building working relationships between businesses, schools, government agencies and the non-profit sector. Mr. Renteria currently directs Idaho’s largest assistive technology loaning library, helps administer the states Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program, and runs the Idaho AgrAbility Project.’
Lisa Robbe, MBA

Lisa Robbe, MPA - Holding a Masters in Public Administration from BSU, Lisa has been working in Developmental Disabilities for 20 years. She teaches Intensive Behavior Intervention and serves on Idaho's Council on Developmental Disabilities. As the administrator of Partnerships for Inclusion, Lisa has the privilege of supervising some of the most talented and passionate individuals working in the field today.
Carolyn Rudeck, B.A.

Carolyn Rudeck's diverse background brings a wealth of knowledge and perspective to her position at Community Partnerships of Idaho. In 2003, she began as an Employment Specialist, then Job Coach Manager and currently as Director of Community Suported Employment. She has worked with people with disabilities for over twelve years and is certified in Employment Services through UW-CCER (formely WWU-CCER) since 2006. A native of New York City, she graduated from Lehman College of City University of NY with a degree in biology and began a career in research at Columbia University and then at IBM. She then moved to Colorado and co-owned a successful business.
Tom Sechrist

Tom Sechrist, is founder and principal member of Sechrist and Associates, LLC, a human resource and management consulting firm based in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Mr. Sechrist has been “in and around” community-based employment services focusing on people with disabilities for well over 30 years. He is a frequent presenter at national and local conferences on topics on financial management, marketing, and industrial/human factors engineering.
Rachel Seluga, BA, PSR/TSC
Session(s): A1 - From Surviving to Thriving: Schizophrenia, Stigma and a Second Chance
Rachael Seluga, BA PSR/TSC Specialist: Rachael graduated from the University of Oregon in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She has developed a strong background in the Mental Health field through first-hand experience of supporting close individuals in her life with Schizophrenia and other Mental Illnesses. These personal experiences have fueled her passion for working with individuals with mental illnesses. While in college, Rachael worked as a Victim Advocate for the Lane County District Attorney’s Office providing advocacy, support and assistance to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking. At the University of Oregon, Rachael also worked as a Research Assistant in a Developmental Sociobiology lab and a Social Cognition. In September 2009 Rachael moved to the Boise area to work with veterans in a Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Program at the Boise VA Medical Center. Since October 2009, Rachael has been an active employee as a Rehabilitation Technician at the Boise VA Medical Center and a Mental Health Specialist providing Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services at Community Partnerships of Idaho
Guy Tidwell, M.A., BCBA

Guy Tidwell, M.A., BCBA, has a long history working with people with developmental disabilities in Massachusetts, California and Idaho. He currently works for Idaho’s Department of Health and Welfare as a member of the Community Support & Outreach Team. Guy is a Masters level Board Certified Behavior Analyst and specializes in helping individuals with serious challenging behavior. His interests include functional behavioral assessment, functional analysis, designing behavior support programs, motivation, and the influence of psychiatric conditions on problem behavior. He has worked with families, schools, and both private and public agencies. A person-centered approach guides his assessment and selection of interventions.
Tim Voz
Session(s): G2 - Developing a Crisis Prevention and Supports Network for Idahoan’s with Developmental Disabilities
Tim Voz works for the Developmental Disabilities Program in the Division of Family & Community Services. The Community Support & Outreach Team consists of nine staff persons located throughout the state. Team members have a wide variety of educational & human services backgrounds in many facets of the disability community in Idaho. Mr. Voz has worked in the public and private sector in the disability community for 30 years in Idaho, Washington and New Mexico.
