The Employment Specialist position provides a variety of employment services to help people with employment barriers and criminal offenders in employment. Employment Specialist will provide job seeking assistance and placement, job retention, training and skill building. The Employment Specialist will develop employer relationships and network with area businesses to assist them with their hiring needs. The Employment Specialist will work closely with other agencies coordinating services. Preference is given to individuals willing to work with the offender population. Desire applicants that have Bilingual Spanish/English and/or American Sign Language proficiency.
The position is buildable and starts part time and can build to full time.
