Blendtec Shows What You Can Do With Your Unused Hearing Aids

BlendTec VideoAre you tired of seeing your father’s hearing aids sitting unused in the drawer? Do you want to send him a message he won’t forget? Visit one of the funniest web sites I've seen recently. It's called "Will it Blend?" hosted by Blendtec, the commercial blender company, which created an internet sensation with its YouTube video showing an industrial-strength blender grinding an Apple iPhone to dust. The iPhone video has been viewed four million times and counting. Now click here for Blendtec founder Tom Dickson’s hilarious video of someone who looks like your father donating multiple pairs of hearing aids for the same treatment. The video is a hoot, but the old guy who has tossed his last hearing aid into the blender gets the last laugh when he says “That’s the quietest blender I ever heard!”

Comments

you all are sick! disgusts me to see hearing aids being destroyed!

This is most amusing video appeared on the Internet ever I seen.

This commerical surely convince me to buy that amazing blender.

Audists screamed out for an inventor of this super blender! Hooray for the Blendtec.

No questions, any disposed hearing aids should be donated to the Lion's Club. Who cares about hearing aids anyway?

THAT IS NOT FUNNY!!!

Chances are, these weren't $5,000 hearing aids. And while they could have been donated, you could say the same about any product consumed in the process of making an ad or YouTube video. How much Diet Coke has been wasted in the Mentos videos? How much beef has been created and thrown away for McDonald's commercials?

Personally, I was more emotionally devastated when they destroyed one of the first Apple iPhones.

As for deaf and hard of hearings, we prefer to wear hearing aids better than Cochlear Implants. We are thankful to use hearing aids and we wish the price of hearing aids would cost cheaper than $5,000. Cochlear Implants cost range $50,000 to $75,000 for deaf and hard of hearing. To me, that is a big rip-off!! Boycott the doctors for rip-off costs on hearing aids and cochlear implants. We are happy to be deaf and hard of hearing. Thanks to be God!
Cathy Roach (Deaf)

It is not funny. Hearing aids cost $5,000 apiece and if it is unused, it is money thrown away.

I like the Will It Blend? video series, but in this case I think those could have been put to better use by being donated to Lions or a similar organization.
