Bombs explode in Mexico City

1 Three bombs exploded after midnight this monday, November 6th, 2006 in Mexico City.  A fourth one was detected and disarmed before exploding.  The bombs exploded in the Electoral Court of the Federal District, one of the PRI national site buildings and at a branch of Scotia Bank.  Nobody was hurt, but there is significant material damage on the three sites.

This seems to be yet another effort at building a deteriorated environment for the Presidential inauguration in December 1st.  No group has claimed autorship of the explosions and the APPO from Oaxaca has denied conection to the actions.

I am flying to Mexico City tonight and will have a better chance to experience first hand the environment there.  I will keep posting on developments on this and Oaxaca here.
