This web site is a follow up to the book I wrote, "Finding My Open Door" that chronicles my experience with having gastric bypass surgery. I wanted to share my decision making process, and the challenges both financially and emotionally that it took to get to my day of surgery. I continued with my experiences with recovery and what I found it would take to ensure my greatest success with my surgery.
