Yura and Tamuro from Wasted Minds

Wasted Minds is a five-part story created by writer/artist Rumiko Takahashi early in her career. It is a comedy series about two young agents for the woefully underbudgeted JCIA (Japanese Central Intelligence Agency). Yura Enjoji and Tamuro Gomi are quite literally super-agents, as they were recruited by the JCIA because of their amazing--or at least unusual--psionic powers: Yura possesses super-strength and super-speed when in combat, while Tamuro is able to teleport anywhere on Earth, so long as its from one garbage pile to another garbage pile.

James Bond or the X-Men they aren't, but Yura and Tamuro might make interesting characters for GMs to use in light-hearted games featuring secret societies and super-criminals.

Total Skill Points: 60

Yura is a delicate beauty in her late teens, with a lustrous black hair that flows to her knees. She is very girlish in her typical behavior--screaming at the sight of dead bodies, crying when her feelings are hurt, and so on. Her fragile appearance, however, hides remarkable strength. Due to her amazing psionic abilities, Yura can smash solid brick walls, punch her fist through sheet metal, and break massive oak trees in half. Further, when insulted or when someone threatens to cut her beautiful hair, Yura is more than willing to apply both her martial arts skills and her super strength to the offending parties.

Tamuro Gomo (Skill Point Costs: Teenage Romance Genre)

Total Character Points: 57
Total Skill Points: 40

Tamuro is a handsome young man in his late teens. He is proud of being chosen to serve his country at such a young age and is perhaps the dedicated and uncorruptable agent in the JCIA. He and Yura have been partners since they were both recruited by the JCIA, and he is her best friend, as she is his. The only person in the world he cares for more than Yura is a rolly-polly bulldog that travels with him nearly everywhere.

Teleportation Restriction (Can Only Teleport from Garbarge to Garbage)*
2

*Unique Character Defect: Teleportation Restriction

Tamuro can only use his teleportation power to go from one pile of garbage to another pile of garbage. Garbage is defined by any sort of waste or broken and completely useless equipment. For example, Tamuro could teleport from a car with a dead battery, four flat tires, and an empty gas tank to a dumpster full of cardboard and spoiled food. Tamuro can teleport himself and up to three additional creatures. In order to reach a location, he needs to be aware of its existence and he can choose a general area, such as a city or a region of a country.
