Nam June Pike, multimedia art: “20,000 year old man”.
Stopping over at the airport, the nearby Hyatt Hotel is definitely recommended. A 5 star hotel with a good Spa and big pool.
On the main floor, between the restaurant and the reception, there is an impressive light sculpture.
It is called “20,000 year Old Man”, and it is by Nam June Paik, a Korean multimedia artist very famous in the seventies.
In the future, when having a choice of airport en route in the Northern Pacific area, go through Seoul. The hotel is excellent and the sculpture impressive. Airlines may will offer it for free during a long lay-over.
