Photograph by Tsering Thundup Saari. I met him in Kathmandu in October 200 through a friend who did Mera Peak with him.
He is a Tibetan orphan adopted at a very young age by parents from New Mexico. This picture was taken during his three month trip in Tibet, Nepal and India in 2000.
He also attended the Shotan Festival in Utsang in Central Tibet where a huge carpet is displayed.
