What I generally do is a Celtic Cross Spread, to get your general energy, followed by 3 card or other spreads to get answers to specific Questions. Before we begin, Let me say if the reading feels on consider it, but if it does not put it aside without fretting it.

Well the core cards are quite interesting in that Death Crossed by the Magus, Adds up to Temperance. So it would seem that you are at a point of change in your life, but that change is not welcome and being blocked. I Notice also that we see in the past position the 3 of Pents. (The Apprentice) Now I always read the Apprentice card as a 3. In some decks it is printed as a 3- Thoth, Gendron. In others It is printed as an 8 - Waite, Robin Wood. I see the Apprentice as young energetic and playful so a 3. Not a solid middle aged 8 you see.

So we see you moving from Apprentice to Magus, and perhaps not welcoming the change, not feeling strong enough yet to embrace the next step of you growth. With so many trumps in play it would seem we are dealing with your Magickal vs your mundane self. It also make sense of your present moment line. We see you aspiring to align yourself with your intent. Universe as the crown, and 5 pent Rx as your foundation. It shows you being in the world, but not overwhelmed by the world. The 5 is very auspicious here. It speaks to your having enough, but not so much wealth materially that it drives the other elements out of your life.

Numerology: Present Moment Line. 21+14+5=40/ Emperor. Notice how your present moment line totals 40. The biblical number of completion. Whatever one may feel about the authors of the old testament, a study of their work reveals that they where master numerologist. Thus the significance the lent to this number should not be over looked. Also with the Apprentice in play, the Emperor in his role as builder is significant to you. Now is the moment to embrace plans long put off and create for yourself the life "you've imagined" to coin the phrase. :)

BB: Up to this point I would read the reading very little differently, however with the Lovers and Star, in play in the bar. I might well now read the Magus not as the Q, but as a man in her life whose energy will help her through the labor pains of the rebirthing of her life. I dont know that this person is/will be her lover in the intimate sense, but certainly someone whose energy blends with hers in a very positive way, and brings out her best, strongest self.

The fading to rising line, shows you moving out of your apprentice ship as we said, and into your mastery, Your masculine energies are very strong right now. Magus in play, Emperor in play, and The Sun Rising. This is a moment to pay extra attention to the Lord as you see him. Lord Utu, brother of Innana, or Apollo, or Ra. The sun god is rising for you, and should accept his gift. He will bless you with strength and energy you did not know you had with-in yourself.

Numerology: 8+14+19=41 Now this is very interesting is it not. In the present moment we have 40 Rising we have 41 the next step. Yet it also reduces to 5 the Hierophant, or the Karmic School master as I call him. This is an opportunity to brake with bad patterns and embrace new better ones. (That's very much the role of the 5 of trumps, IMHO).

Now the card that speaks to your best energy is very interesting here.
3 of Wands Rx. The 3 of Wands normally speaks of our putting our energy out into the world, symbolized by the ship, and see what the ship returns to us. So although you have this immense energy coming into your life their is an element of holding onto it, of being careful and not reckless in your plans.

BB: Again I would read this differently today. The Q's best energy is not in putting out energy, but in accepting energy. Being receptive to the positive, Sun/Magus energy we have spoken to in other cards, energy that is now being returned to her.

Your House:
The Star, she returns to the world what came of the world before her ascension to the next level. As this speaks to your close circle. I see it speaking to not everyone around you seeing or understanding your completion of the current cycle in your life and moving past your present moment. Perhaps this is why you feel overburdened. Life becomes quite a load when we seek to please everyone else before ourselves.

BB: Now I dont begin to know what I was thinking here. I was too focused on the 10 I guess, looking at the spread with fresh eyes, I see the Star as someone who will help the Q. return to the world what came from the world. Really the same energy as the Magus, shining through another window. This is a person who will boost the Q up and help her achieve that transition to a higher plane.

Yet with the outcome the lovers, and all this lovely (positive) masculine energy in play. I cant help but believe and element of love new or renewed involved in this transformation. That part of Lord Utu's gift to you is a lovely man who will support you and lend you strength going forward. (Maybe its just me being Romantic. But its hard not to believe with this wonderful lovers card in play as your outcome. )
