Eisenhower is buried at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Library and Museum in Abilene, Kansas.

Following the 2007 Kiwanis International Convention in San Antonio, we drove from San Antonio to Salina, Kansas on Friday, July 6th. The next morning we went to Abilene to visit the Eisenhower site.

After we bought our tickets at the visitors center, we went to the Place of Meditation, where Eisenhower is buried. The Place of Meditation is really dark and my fear was that my pictures wouldn't come out. I did my best with the equipment I had and I even had to photoshop the pictures to lighten then up.

The boyhood home is also on the grounds.

Afterwards, we went over to the museum then took off for the next site.
